Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Tridoron

Before we go through the intricacies of this S.H. Figuarts Tridoron. First gimmick you’ll encounter are the LED lights. It is powered by 3 AAA batteries that are placed underneath where the exhaust pipe are. Near this is the off and on switch for headlights and taillights. All wheels work just fine and rotate on their axis and the front set moves left and right. 

Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Speed (20 Kamen Rider Kicks ver)

The S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Speed in the 20 Kamen Rider Kicks edition simply has no difference with the original version. The figure itself still has the signature car theme extremities such as the spoiler on the head, the driver and the type speed tire on the waist and upper torso. Drive still has that crisp glossy red finish almost like what normal cars would have. Gimmick on the figure remains the same.

Ganbarizing Promo Feat. Kamen Rider Drive

The official website of the revamped Carddass Rider Battle Ganbaride arcade game called Kamen Rider Battle GANBARIZING recently streamed its latest promo for the October 2014 launch with Kamen Rider Drive. The first batches of Kamen Rider Drive's powers will include Type Speed, Speed Flare, Speed Spike and Speed Shadow. The video also announces the inclusion of Ryugen Yomotsu Heguri Arms.

Kamen Rider Drive X Kamen Rider Gaim Movie Wars: Duke Returns?

New spy shots have been circulating lately in line for the winter movie; Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Drive & Gaim Movie Wars slated this December 13, 2014 in Japanese theaters.  These new spy shots reveal that Kamen Rider Duke seems to survive and returning just for the film. What kind of lock seed and where did it come from has yet to be revealed. More details will be coming soon. It also looks like the Kureshima brothers will be facing the new Duke.

Kamen Rider Drive 1st Promo Video

Here is the new promo of the 16th Heisei Rider, Kamen Rider Drive. Riku Sanjo, known for writing Kamen Rider W will be the lead writer, series producer is Takahito Ōmori and director is Ryuta Tazaki.  Kamen Rider Drive will start on October 5th.  

Kamen Rider Drive Toys Seen At The Tokyo Toy Show

As we approach a new Kamen Rider season, the Tokyo Toy Show has showcased some of the upcoming Kamen Rider Drive merchandises hitting retail soon. Some of the featured toys are the DX Drive Driver, DXF Kamen Rider Drive and other Banpresto offerings such as WCF and sofubi. 

Kamen Rider Drive X Kamen Rider Gaim Movie Wars Announced

The movie wars official website has been updated lately revealing the Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Drive & Gaim Movie Wars film slated this December 13, 2014 in Japanese theaters. Also revealed are the first teaser visuals featuring our two main heroes. Full title will be announced later this year. The website has announced that there will be 2 swing sets that will be made available during the premier.

A new toy scan has been circulated lately, revealed other upcoming DX Shift Cars to be on sale most likely towards the end of the year. No prices yet but what are listed are DX Justice Hunter, Spin Mixer and Massive Monster Shift Cars; DX Dimension Cap and Pegasus Dream Shift Cars; DX Dump Rumble and Mad Doctor Shift Cars; DX Fire Braver and Rolling Gravity Shift Cars. 

Official Images Of Kamen Rider Drive Toys Revealed

Bandai recently released the official  images for upcoming toys in line with Kamen Rider Drive. The first wave of Drive toys will start this October, 2014 just in time when the series airs on the 5th. Check out the prices after the jump.

No Bikes For Kamen Rider Drive And More Spy Shots

New information has been published recently on this month's Hyper Hobby regarding our 16th Heisei Rider, Kamen Rider Drive. According to the producer Takahito Omori, Kamen Rider Drive will not be using a bike but a car, which is a first in the franchise. Aside from this, it has been shown on the scan that Kiriko will also be handling other Shift Cars as a support to Kamen Rider Drive.

Kamen Rider Girls Members To Appear In Kamen Rider Drive

It was revealed recently through their twitter accounts that 2 of the group, Kamen Rider Girls will be appearing on the 2nd episode of Kamen Rider Drive. They are Mitsuki Endo (Kamen Rider Fourze Girl) and Hitomi Isaka (Kamen Rider OOO Girl).

A press conference was held recently, formally announcing the cast of  Kamen Rider Drive. Ryoma Takeuchi will be playing the titular hero Shinnosuke Tomari/Kamen Rider Drive. Moreover, the theme song is Surprise - Drive and will be sung by Mitsuru Matsuoka with a new band called the Mitsuru Matsuoka Earnest Drive. More press conference photos after the jump via Oricon.

TV Asahi Launches Kamen Rider Drive On Company's Site

Finally, more details about Kamen Rider Drive have been uploaded on TV Asahi's website that includes a brief introduction on the concept of the story and more character information.  It was mentioned that the story line will be fusing “Kamen Rider x Detective Drama” with riddles and case solving that a range of generations can enjoy.  Also this is the first time that the main rider will be using a car instead of a bike which brings the series back to the original series wherein machine and humans are united to battle evil.
