Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Fourze Module Set 05

The most expensive module set in the S.H. Figuarts line and only set that claimed the stamp, "exclusive", is the Module Set 5. As the biggest set and hopefully the last, has 20 of both on and on switches to match with the modules included. I will not dwell much on the switches since it functions like any other.

Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Fourze Module Set 4

Now we have another Fourze S.H. Figuarts set even the show was over for months now. This is a quick review of the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Fouze Module Set 4. Even if the title seems lengthy, we have a small number of modules tied to this set.

The Module Set 4 includes modules namely Medical, Hammer, Wheel, Pen, and Water. The Medical module is a small box that contains syringes and the lid becomes a monitor to check out pulses and what not. The  Hammer module looks like a double sided gavel. It is in a nice sculpt and a nice addition to the set. Water module is basically a huge faucet with a rotating knob. In some way you need to bend the knees to rotate this handle.  The (in my opinion) useless module is the Pen. This is just a brush with its tip resting on a balljoint.

Toy Review: Kamen Rider Fourze Module Set 03

The third installment of the module set series in S.H. Figuarts. This is my review of the Module Set 3. Thank god we moved forward from the awful pink box from Set 2, but what's with the lime green color? Anyway, the size of the box can be slightly compared with Kamen Rider Zolda with the Shield module setting as hero product of the set.

This set includes, stealth, gatling, winch, shield and chain array inclusive of their respective Fourze Switches. Chain Array module is a brown ball and chain combination and surprisingly heavy. Modules Stealth and Shield concepts are taken from the B2 Stealth Bomber and the nose of a Space Shuttle respectively. Shield Module's texture forms like a brick wall than just a smooth curve of a shuttle.

Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Fourze Module Set 2

This is a review of the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Fourze Module set 2. Pink? really? I have no idea why but it seems that guys from Tamashii Nations are fond of this color and had place this on Module Set 2.

The set includes the parachute, chainsaw, hopping and smoke modules accompanied by their respective on/off switches which amounts to 8. Against all of the modules, the chainsaw and the parachute are the most hassle prone accessories here. The chainsaw module does have a flip out action to reveal the saw and has an extra foot with the teeth embedded to be more realistic. So this means, I need to keep exchanging these parts depending on when and how I use them. Because of that, the pegs are susceptible to wear and tear. As for the parachute module, this is no rocket science to place the parts together but be warned that the ropes (wired assembly) will be crooked in the process. A KRC Tamashii Stand with extension are available to hold the parachute and a clip on lock to hold Fourze in the air. Looking at it, it feels unstable.

First is the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Fourze Module Set 4 which includes the following modules: Hammer, Pen, Wheel, Water and Medical. Aside from this, there are corresponding switches to complete the set. Price is 3,000 yen. Not too shabby.

Lastly, is Fourze's final form - Cosmic States. Cosmic States will include his Barizun Sword and on/off switches for his Fourze Driver and the sword. Price is 3,200 Yen. Time to save up to high heavens in the next few months if you are saving for these.
