Toy Review: SH Figuarts Kamen Rider OOO Sagozo Combo

SAI, GORILLA, ZO!!!! sagozo..(drum beat) SAGOZO!!!. Akira Kushida never sounded this great. At first, I laughed on how the combo sounded but it slowly donned to me with such magnificence.

Even for the character's SHF version. The SH Figuarts Kamen Rider OOO Sagozo (Sagohzo)is the fourth installment for the series. Combined by three black/grey core medals Sai (Rhino) Gorilla and Zo (elephant) there is never a combination with this kind of synergism while the parts are clear and distinctive from each other.

He came with 6 pairs of hands, most notable is that he has now two hands to hold the OOO scanner. OOO scanner is still the same; complete with imperfect grooves on the sides. Sagozo also has the Medaljalibur, which for me was necessary because 1) he never used this weapon in the series and 2) with those big arms he may have problems holding the sword. Makes sense?

What I like most about the figure is the ZO legs, they are the best looking pair I've ever seen and the best adaptation of its intended animal. And for the first time, I wasn't complaining about the ball joints that connect the feet and the legs. Mainly because there are no ankle extensions to hinder the figure's movement. Hooray!

The Gorilla arms cannot shoot out like its OCC counterpart but it compensates by its easy-to-detach pegs. You may use any tamashii stand to make those look like they actually do shoot from the arms. The let down of detaching the Gorilla arms is that they will be hard to place back in, just like the first time you take it out from the plastic case.

For once my SHF Sagozo doesn't have loose parts.

If you can scuffle Sogozo in your favorite online Japanese stores, you are in a treat. Get yours today.
