After a long drought, CAPCOM officially announced Ultimate Marvel vs. CAPCOM 3 for both the PlayStation 3 and the XBOX 360 and will be released in November 2011. New characters such as Dante (DMC), Chris (Resident Evil) and She Hulk, Firebrand, Ghost Rider and Hawkeye (Marvel)will be joining the foray.
Strider Hiryu will also be returning to the crossover franchise and Firebrand on the CAPCOM side, and Ghost Rider and Hawkeye on the Marvel side. CAPCOM also announced that there are also downloadable characters from both CAPCOM and MARVEL side will be made available namely Jill and Shuma-Gorath. Total number of playable characters is at 50.
The game will also include 8 new stages, as well as a spectator mode, allowing players to watch live online matches.
