How many reports have posted that there will be a Gavan movie and Kenji Ohba will be replaced? Well we have a true confirmation that Kenji Ohba will be passing down the torch through a new Gavan movie and a photo of the new Gavan.
After 30 years since it first aired in 1982, Gavan The Movie will premier this October 20th in cinemas in Japan. The new Gavan is played by Yuma Ishigaki as Geki Jyumonji wielding Gavan's powers. Kenji will still reprise his role as the current Gavan.
Gavan returned to the big screen through the movie Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger VS Uchuu Keiji Gavan fighting against our sentai pirates and in the end teamed up with Marvelous in one of the most epic team up to date.
Some of the confirmed cast in the upcoming movie is Nagaoka Takuya (Faiz in Kamen Rider Decade) Okuma Toya; and, Suzuka Morita (aka Shinken Yellow from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger) as Sherry, Geki Jyumonji's love interest.
Yuuji Kobayashi (Garo/Ultraseven X) will be scriptwriting the movie and Osamu Kanada will be directing the film. Kanada's works include directing most of the Kamen Rider x Super Sentai films.
