It just keeps pouring in. Another highlight at this year's Tamashii Nations 2012 event is the reveal of the 12-inch Perfect Model AkibaBlue and AkibaYellow. This is to follow AkibaRed's release which was featured at the Tamashii Nations Vol.4 in Hong Kong.
The 12-inch Perfect Model is the latest product offering from Bandai to enter the foray of the 12-inch figure market. On a press release last August, it is stated on the press release that "The key target market is
males in their 20s and 30s. Bandai plans to sell the figures in model
shops, toy stores, and model and toy departments of electronics and mass
retail outlets. The action figures will also be sold through Internet
sales and otherc hannels. Bandai is targeting global sales of 20,000
units for the series as a whole by March 31, 2013."
Price and release date for AkibaYellow and AkibaBlue has yet to be announced.
