Ishinomori Manga Museum Reopens To Public

Ishinomori Manga Museum (Ishinomori Mangakan) in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Japan was one of the worst hit during the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. The structure actually toppled down and left statues AkaRanger and Kamen Rider 1 standing.

The museum was built to honor manga and anime legend Shōtarō Ishinomori featuring his works throughout the decades. It was last November 17th that the said Museum opened its doors once again to the public.

Gracing the occasion are the Kamen Rider Girls singing their single "Saite", Rider Chips guitarist, Yoshio Nomura and Manga Japan Representative Satonaka Machiko. Over 4000 patrons have attending the re-opening and a few Kamen Riders namely Kamen Rider Wizard, Fourze, Den-O, OOo, Kamen Rider 1.

Ishinomori Mangakan Executive Manager said, "believing this museum's opening world be part of this town's recovery, we've worked up to this point". The rebuild took about 1 year and 11 months prior to its relaunch.
