Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Cyclone

The S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Cyclone is a representation of Philip’s form in the novel, Kamen Rider W: The One Who Comes After Z. If you think this will be a simple offshoot from the deluxe S.H. Figuarts Cyclone Cyclone Joker Joker set, I would rather see this as a variant from Kamen Rider Joker.

Unlike the DX version, Cyclone only has one socket to either hold two kinds of mufflers, one is for static poses and the other for the wind flowing effect. On the Lost Driver, the shell in now replaced with a green metallic paint.

This figure is similar to Joker wherein the silver middle section is now gone and replaced with white pin stripes on the biceps, abdomen and thighs. Aside from the mufflers are 6 extra hands to mimic fighting stances or to simply exclaim that it is time to count up your sins.

It is sad we didn’t have the chance to see Kamen Rider Cyclone in action aside from the game Climax Heroes. Even with that, at least this form exists in the tokusatsu universe even though the character extended into the pages of a paperback. So what do I really think about the figure? I like almost all S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider W and this is not even my least favorite. It has all the characteristics that made Kamen Rider W one of the best collections in S.H. Figuarts line and I consider this a unique release. I do recommend to those W fans and who have loved the series. More to this from the video review below.
