Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Beast Mantles Set

The S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Beast Mantles set is simple a slew of mantle armaments for your Kamen Rider Beast. What we have are representations of Falco, Buffa, Cameleo and Dolphi head accents with two kinds of mantles. One is a solid piece definitely for display purposes only and the other are cut into like shredded paper pieces with swivel points at the end allowing the figure to move the arms freely for action poses.

To replace the default shoulder pad on Kamen Rider Beast is just by pulling this out of its clip and placing the mantle first. The heads sits on a ball joints to cap it all off. Though the mantles have a ball joint it, these won’t really allow you to move the heads from side to side. Final parts in this set are the four extra belts with one ring missing in each to give a more accurate look together with the mantles.

These mantles are highly detailed and some parts look great on Kamen Rider Beast. Just be careful clipping the mantles on the figure because of the thin plastic and it is highly possible that it could snap. Thing is, the set is more expensive than Kamen Rider Beast that will get some fans steer away from the Premium Bandai Shop Exclusive but would probably pick this up way far in the future. Or not even pick it up at all. I was mentioning throughout this review that the mantles are high detailed but Bandai left one essential accessory, the wizard rings to match with the Beast Mantles.
