Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z More Confirmed Characters Revealed

Namco Bandai Games have announced additional character that will be included in  the PS Vita, Xbox 360 and Play Station 3 game entitled:  Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z.Currently in development by Artdink, it was reported that there are no transformations for the characters and their levels are played as a different character. For example, you can either choose Super Saiyan Kid Gohan or Super Saiyan 2 Kid Gohan. In addition, there are several types of characters, and can be classified by either Ki Blast, Fighting, Support types to name a few.

Additional characters confirmed are, Super Saiyan Trunks, Android 18, Dr. Gero, Gohan and Andriod, 16, 17, 18, 19 and Great Ape Vegeta. The first game launched after two years, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z's Day One Edition  includes a download code for Goku's Naruto Uzumaki Sage Mode Costume from the popular NARUTO SHIPPUDEN series. Dragon Ball Z and Naruto fans can reserve a copy of the game to guarantee their Day One Edition Bonus.

Aside from Son Goku in Naruto's Sage Mode costume, other forms and characters that were confirmed are Super Vegito and Super Saiyan Bardock. However, they will be added as pre-order bonuses in selected stores. 

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will have over 60 missions, retelling the Goku's story starting from the Saiyan Arc to the Frieza Saga. Players can unlock extra characters and earn cards, which they can use to customize fighters at the end of each mission. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z has skill cards that let you change what abilities characters have and strengthening cards that up stats like Ki Blast power.  The game will allow up to 4 players to play together as a team or go head to head with other 4 players for a 8 player death battle.

The game will have online multiplayer support and can build team attacks such as "Synchro Rush" or boosting each other's health via "Revive Soul." In addition, it was also announced that it will feature Super Saiyan God, Goku's form that was introduced in the movie, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film. As of this post, confirmed characters included in this game are: Goku (Base, Super Saiyan God), Vegeta, Raditz, Nappa, Krillin, Tien, Piccolo, Kid Gohan, Ginyu, Jeice, Burter, Recoome, Guldo and Saibaman.
