Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Beast Hyper

Nitoh’s ultimate profile in the form of this S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Beast Hyper uses a flashier mix of blue and gold color palettes than of is base structure. The surge of Chimera’s power is featured in this form, the chest shows a huge lion piece and to hype it more, this now have fringes on his forearms that are both offensive and defensive weapons as seen on the show.

Beast Hyper has one of the biggest number of hands, 14 if you considered the clasped hands as one. Then he also comes with extra fringes with a slighter wave for moving poses. Finally is his Mirage Magnum with intricate details as expected from Tamashii Nations.

To be honest, I am not really a fan of Kamen Rider Beast Hyper just because of the confusing motif. Even with that, Bandai did a great job interpreting the character and transition it to S.H. Figuarts. I think we have too much hand replacement and could have substituted with longer fringes since these are also weapons used by Beast. Another thing that cringed me the most is the reason why this is the first final form of a secondary rider that has the Tamashii Web Exclusive price tag. More to this from the video review below.
