Toy Review: Play Arts Kai Jorge (Halo Reach)

Can be considered a human tank, the Play Arts Kai Halo Reach Jorge is a bulky and heavy figure with nice and crisp airbrushed texture and highly detailed armor such as the bullet marks on his Grenadier left shoulder detail, EVA shoulder pad on the right. The heavy weapons specialist also has a backpack and the entire frame is composed of the modified MJOLNIR armor plating.

 Jorge, just like any other Play Arts Kai figures only has a handful of accessories such as the Heavy Machine Gun, a grenade and two holding hands. The grenade can be held through a peg pushed on his left hand but this can be held up even without it. The holding hands don’t really hold on the grips on the gun per se but they are enough to lift this even above the waist or even held by one hand.

Overall, this is a good representation of Jorge in a 10-inch persona. Though he lacks diversity on the accessory count, he can get away with it due the high detail seen on the figure. Amongst all the Halo Reach Noble team characters, this is one of my favorites just because this Noble 5 is a force to be reckoned with. If you have the chance to get this figure, I highly recommend it because even if he his a bulky character, the poseabilities are almost endless.
