Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Alternative Zero

Another Ryuki character has jumped into the S.H. Figuarts line up. And this is the Pseudo-rider Alternative Zero. The figure mimics one of the production suits that is decorated with silver stripes labeled "Trial Prototype-00" on both sides of the body. Part of the mold are the Slash Visor card reader on his right forearm and the transformation device with its deck that can be detached from his belt.

Alternative Zero has a just a few but manageable number of accessories such as Advent 5 cards, one of them to conjure the nicely sculpted but sharp Slash Dagger. Last to mention are 8 hands, and with one to hold the sword and the Advent Cards. The cards look and work differently as the barcodes are placed on left side and these are swiped against the Slash Visor.

I was anticipating this release since I enjoyed and liked the S.I.C. version, hoping to would have the same impact. And it did. The details are well executed especially those decals on both seams of his frame. I almost have no nitpicks or anything to bash on except the absence of Psycorogue. Ryuki line up for S.H. Figuarts continues to perform well and this latest addition is no exception. More to this from the video review below.
