Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Agito Burning Form

After years of waiting Bandai finally made a consideration in releasing the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Agito Burning Form. This figure has a more defined muscle tone than past releases, channeling that fury in red armor while his belt has changed into a powered up form.

In this set, the Burning Form has 8 extra hands and a compact and single version of his main weapon, the Shining Caliber. The Shining Caliber, even in its toy form is dangerously sharp and the gems are made from translucent plastic. Same type used on his Agito belt. With this, there are two kinds of holding hands that fit differently on the Shining Caliber.

As a stand alone, it was sensible that the upgraded form should also feature Bandai’s new sculpt and joint system on this figure. Even if Agito is awesome-looking, the shoulder gives him some limitation raising his arms sideways. This is also true with mid section movement and the thigh joints. In short, poseabilities are compromised. I still would recommend for Agito fans to get this, but I hope joints improve when Shining Form comes along. More to this from the video review below.
