According to KickerDaily, visual effects team from Legacy Effects studio, were recently seen "shopping for locations" in the Philippines, rumored to be for the live-action Gundam movie. Legacy Effects are contributors to popular movies such as Avatar, X-men, Godzilla, Robocop 2014, Captain America and alike.
Last January 21st, Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino held a press conference announcing their partnership with Legacy Effects to bring more movies based on Japanese manga and anime to Hollywood and to the global audience. It is not yet known which Gundam series will be adapted from for the big screen. Legacy Effects and Tomino are still mum on the live-action Gundam movie project.
