Bandai's Youtube channel started streaming their promotional video for the upcoming
release of the S.H. Figuarts
Super Mario Bros. figure from Nintendo's hero game franchise. Tamashii Nations had a
preview of these at the Toy Fair held at Nuremberg, Germany last 29
January - 03 February 2014.
The S.H. Figuarts Super Mario is inclusive with a super
mushroom, gold mystery box and a gold coin. Price of the figure is
about 2,700 yen and will be released this May 2014. The company also
announced that they will be issuing 2 diorama sets (A & B) to build your version
of Super Mario's world for 2,160 yen each.
Bluefin Tamashii Nations has also
announced its release date and bound to US shores this June. Prices are:
S.H. Figuarts Super Mario MSRP $24.99, Diorama PlaySet A MSRP $19.99 and Diorama PlaySet B MSRP $19.99.
