Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Machine Denbird

To satisfy fans’ clamor for Den-O’s rider machine, Bandai released the S.H. Figuarts Machine DenBird as part of the growing collection of vehicles for your Kamen Riders. As what everybody hoped, the bike is in scale with S.H. Figuarts Den-O with stronger definitions from the engine, sculpt of the seat pan, down to the spokes of the tires. There are more prominent flakey blue paint applications found on the front and stripes on the body.

This Tamashii Web Shop exclusive comes with 6 pairs of additional holding hands for most of Den-O’s forms, one for Liner form and another for New Den-O. Other parts seen with this set are additional pair of rear view mirrors with handles and of course a rear wheel stand. While the stand clips on the wheels, the mirrors and handlebars are replaced by taking the throttles first before releasing the default mirrors.

I’m satisfied on the proportions and scale against the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Den-O but not sure if the extra hand replacements are necessary since some that came with the rider sets are enough. Even though for me, this is one of the least appealing among Kamen Rider vehicles, Bandai’s representation has been without saying, a great add on to your Den-O collection. Sure this is quite expensive for some collectors but you cannot deny the care that was put into this figure.
