Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Imperer

One of the last batch of Ryuki-based characters to come out of Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts line is Kamen Rider Imperer. Using an Antelope as his primary motif, the figure sports a pair of horns on the head and on his shoulders. White fur is spread on his chest and finally his Gazelle Visor located on his right knee. This is quite a unique place for the Visor, than of other characters in the show. The Advent Deck gimmick continues to slide in and out of the belt just like other Ryuki figures.

This set only has few-to-mention accessories, such as 9 hands, a double-drill Gazelle Stab gauntlet, 3 Advent cards that can be inserted on his Gazelle Visor and finally his own Tamashii Stage with his name and logo printed on the base. The Gazelle Stab is used through one of the holding hands and attached firmly back on his forearm.

Bandai can easily justify the Tamashii Shop Exclusive tag because he only appeared in a few episodes and not that popular in the Tokusatsu universe. However the company did a great representation of the character and still employs that awesome poseability with little to no hindrances on the articulation. I just hoped that the joint issue on the legs are limited only to a few sets and have an easier way of releasing the cards off the visor.
