War Machine Mark 2 is a decedent of the of the S.H. Figuarts Iron Patriot sharing almost the same traits and features but without the red white and blue and the star on the chest. The set up for the look and feel will not be complete with the shoulder cannon which you can place on either side of the back shoulder to add versatility in both positioning and how you would strategize your camera angles.
Like I said the figure is almost a mirror image of Iron Patriot with 6 extra wrist replacements and 7 effects – 2 pairs for flight mode, 1 for the gun and 1 pair for repulsor blasts. I still have the same annoying description on its odd pair of wrists that have the wrist guards already on while the rest needs to share with the default hands. Only one pair has pegs and have their own wrist guards to plus with either of the hand effect. The gun has several joints to have it point in different directions. But again this is not as dynamic as the first War Machine.
War Machine Mark 2 from the Avenger movie, Age of Ultron is not a stunning as per previous version not only because of the matte color but also lack the details required. If you had Iron Patriot in your Legion, this will not take you abreast that easily but rest assured this one kinda grows on you. But still I was expecting this as a regular release to the rest of the Age of Ultron versions of Iron Man because Stark needs a partner. Unfortunately this exclusive release takes you back a bit and makes you save for other figuarts instead of scrambling for this one.
