Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Majin Boo-Goo (Dragon Ball Z)

S.H. Figuarts recently released the first form of Majin Buu when he was introduced in the Dragon Ball Z franchise. There is a step to take when taken out of the box which some cape parts that should be attached at the back. These move freely allowing more poseable action for the figure. Just like the manga or anime, the figure has pink skin, an antenna on top of his head with three "steam holes" on each side. He is clothed in a purple cape, and a black vest with golden trims. He wears yellow gloves and boots and the golden belt buckle with the "Demon mark". The set is simple with just 4 extra hands, and 2 more heads and a chocolate bar as a prop. More to this review after the jump.

Majin Buu is simply adorable but there are parts that I didn’t really like. Some of them are the exposed joints on the arms that could have been hidden in a certain way. The other is the limitation on the waist and on the head. The body is rounded so it gave that impression that you have more freedom in articulation. What was funny during the review is that I often found myself making several standing poses without realizing that he is already sitting on his bum.
