Toy Review: Storm Collectibles Street Fighter V M. Bison

Storm Collectibles take on the dictator stems from the version of the latest iteration of the game Street Fighter V. M. Bison is this form is quite older with grey hair at the back. He is now wearing a trench coat more than an ordinary military uniform. However in some aspects pays homage to earlier days like Street Fighter 2.

First he has 8 hands, two of which have the palms painted in purple, 2 extra head replacements and crossed arms. Then we have an extra opened lower part of the coat and three psycho effects for the hands. Last are the stage backdrop and the Street Fighter V stage.

Unlike Ken, M. Bison’s change in expressions comes with an actual head swap. You need to remove the cap and detach the head from the body then replacing all back with a different headpiece. The crossed arms are in to sections so you need to remove the default ones first and clamp the new ones in and readjust the height accordingly. The effects for the open hands fit well on to the figure even without extra support from pegs.

You can’t go wrong in picking this version of M. Bison from Storm Collectibles. But you do need some additional care when changing the parts as it has the same brittle feeling on the joints especially when you are exchanging arms. As of this review, I have yet to find a solution to replace the lower coat because it is difficult to remove the upper torso before making the actual swap. I’m also careful on the soft plastic parts for the figure as these are not held tightly.
