Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Mad Rogue

Utsumi’s final rider form as Mad Rogue finally arrives in S.H. Figuarts line up. It is pretty obvious that the look and feels stems for Kamen Rider Rogue with a color swap of purple and white. The biggest difference is the bat symbol on his chest, the helmet and the Evol-Driver. Even with these Mad Rogue’s transformation belt still has the same gimmickry with the rotating level and the bottles that can be removed if needed.

In this set, he is inclusive of 3 pairs of hands, the Nebulasteam Gun combo with Steam Blade to form gun, blade and rifle modes. The blade still has a rotating knob and the gun has a slot for any bottles.

I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again, there is something about white-themed riders that makes their design more interesting than your usual red, blue or black riders. I do like the additional details like the bat symbol on the chest and the head that is more proportionate than of Kamen Rider Rogue. I do highly recommend taking up this nicely done figure even though it is a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive.
