Toy Review: Figma Catwoman (Batman Ninja)

figma Catwoman: Ninja Ver is Good Smile Company’s adaptation-to-figure from the animated movie, Batman Ninja. Out of the box, Catwoman is already in her masked version with distinctive attributes such as her tight ninja outfit, cat-like head piece and paw marks on her knees. One more noticeable part is her bell at the neck. The hole at the back is for inserting the peg of the Figma stand.
Parts include 2 pairs of exchangeable hands, a pair of hands with large claws, 2 versions of her whip, smiling face plate and the signature Figma Stand. The whip for her waist forms into a tail-like accessory for the figure. This is placed by removing the upper torso then sliding this in. The end of this whip has a joint at the back to make it look like a tail. The other whip is formed by connecting 3 parts together. The face on the smiling head can be interchanged with the default version by removing the goggles, then the bangs to free up. You do need to gently wiggle it out to avoid breaking the peg.

Since I have no other figure to compare this to, I believe this is a really nice representation of the movie character. Good Smile is an expert in creating anime characters into figure form. If you are transitioning from other figure lines such as Figuarts to figma, some of the exposed joints may look odd at first but it compensated on the articulation of the figure. What I think should be improved on is the waist articulation as it exposes a lot of the mechanics inside.
