Toy Review: MG Figurise Kamen Rider OOO Tatoba Combo

The news was huge when we finally saw Kamen Riders enter the foray with Double/W. It seems like it was hit thus we continue on with Kamen Rider OOO, starting with of course Tatoba Combo. Box art is sleek, clear and direct to the point but in my opinion, more appealing because of the bright colors embedded in Tatoba.

I've been building BB Gundams for half a year now and I thought that I would complete this without a doubt in less time. I was wrong - I'm still a noob in model kit building. MG Tatoba has parts alphabetically starts from A-I. It scared me a lot at first but later on it was "challenge accepted" (ala Barney Stinson).

DX Kamen Rider OOO Scanner Hacked!!!

I read though Gideon Burogu's blog (now a website) recently that someone on Youtube has successfully hacked the DX OOO scanner. Aside from the video I made on core medal glitches,  this Youtuber used a calculator and some electronic chips plugged into the OOO scanner.

Some of the sounds I heard are the familiar combo changes and core medals we've already seen or read from the last few episodes of Kamen Rider OOO plus a few more which gives you a sneak peak on the next line of core medals and other Gachapon medals as well.

Kamen Rider OOO Gachapon Single Core Medal (Belt) Holder and Scanner

It was not mentioned in a lot of English Kamen Rider -related blogs that there is a Gachapon selling in Japan that features a single Kamen Rider OOO medal holder with an embedded core medal in it and a chibi version of the OOOs scanner.

The single Core Medal Holder is contained in its usual spherical Gachapon plastic case which includes a sticker which you can place on top of the medal. The medal embedded is already fixed and cannot be removed. However there are latches on the sides which you can pull out and connect with other similar medal holders to form the complete Kamen Rider OOO belt (hmmm how about a six medal OOO Belt?).  Each set can produce five unique sounds (check video below).

This Gachapon series has the following medals: Sai, Gorilla, Zou, Lion,Tora, Cheetah, Batta, Kamakiri, Kuwagata and the OOO Scanner.

The Gachapon OOO Scanner has the same number of unique sounds similar to the DX version less the combo sound. It does, however, have the scanning charge.Nifty isn't it?
