After her 13-episode stint in Akibarangers as Hakase, it is reported recently that Maaya Uchida leads the television adaptation of Torako's Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai! (She Has Adolescent Delusions, But I Want to Love Her!) novel. According to the TV station's website Uchida will be joining other veterans such as:
- Maaya Uchida as Rikka Takanashi
- Chinatsu Akasaki as Shinka Nibutani
- Azumi Asakura as Kumin Tsuyuri
- Sumire Uesaka as Sanae Dekomori
The last two characters are unique to the anime adaptation. The production is lead by Kyoto Animation (KyoAni) will premiere this October at Tokyo MX, the premium channel BS Animax.
