Gavan's Commander Qom, Toshiaki Nishizawa Passes Away At 77

Another tokusatsu legend has passed away. Toshiaki Nishizawa, best known as Commander  Qom in Space Sheriff/Uchuu Keiji metal hero series, has passed away in a hospital at Setagaya, Tokyo due to lung cancer.

Toshiaki Nishizawa reprised his role as Commander Qom in the 2006 video game, The Space Sheriff Spirits and came back once more for Uchuu Keiji Gavan: The Movie. He was born on January 20, 1936 in Hokkaido, Japan.
