Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Broly (Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan)

S.H. Figuarts continues to keep up with their Dragon Ball Z line up with the release of Broly, based from the movie Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan. This form was his ultimate Berserk state in the said movie. Similar to the movie, he has white eyes, white pants with a red sash draped around his waist and secured by a yellow belt with a blue gem-center.

The set includes 4 replaceable hands, 2 additional face expressions and green energy ball effects. As a bonus, this also comes with a Tamashii Stage with 2 arms. This stage serves to balance the figure and allow dynamic poses and the other is the to place either of the 3 energy balls. Replacing the face sculpts is similar to past releases where you remove the hair first to release the default one.

On the time of this release, the figure to me was decent. I believe Bandai was still figuring out how to create such a massive hulking figure, putting the joints and form and trying to be as close as possible to the movie. This figure though has a lot of potential on having loose joints and making him stand up is quite a challenge, especially without the help of the Tamashii Stage.
