Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Vasco and Sally

Here is a written review of the S.H. Figuarts Vasco and Sally, the villainous pair from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. Vasco (or Basco) ta Jolokia's name was formed from 3 words namely the Portuguese traveler Vasco da Gama, TAbasco and Bhut JOLOKIA chili pepper (does that mean he is a Hot and Spicy Explorer? lol).

The lastest Hyper Hobby magazine issue has printed additional information on the upcoming mash-up movie Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters vs Gokaigers. We will have clearer view what happened to both teams and you'll be surprised to know that a former villain will now become an ally.

S.H. Figuarts DekaGreen, Basco & Sally, Fourze Astronaut Images

Bandai's Tamashii Webshoutten site finally posted complete images of the S.H. Figuarts DekaGreen, Basco & Sally, Fourze Astronaut. All of them are slated to release this December in time for the holidays.

First is SHF DekaGreen is inclusive of the D-Blaster and D-Rod and stands about 150mm tall. Suggested retail price is 3,675 yen.

Tokumei Sentai Gobuster Fights Basco Ta Jolokia

New images of the Gobusters have been leaked in line with the upcoming movie Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs Uchuu Keiji Gavan THE MOVIE. The next super sentai team will appear on the said movie and they will face Basco Ta Jolokia.

In previous rumors, it was mentioned that the treatment will be similar to GekiRanger and Go-Onger where there will be 3 members appearing and the rest will follow through the rest of the series. However, there are no confirmations of this as of yet and Gobusters may end up like SunVulcan having 3 members only.

Gokaiger Rumors and Gai's death

According to a french toku blog that Basco's real motive is noble and was planned by AkaRed all along. Captain Marvelous is blinded by this truth and sooner or later Basco will elevate into greatness but comes with a price - Gai's death. Even Navi knows the  truth behind Basco's betrayal. This is all but rumors from this blog and should be taken lightly. 

 

GokaiGalleon's 5th Kanzen and an Evil GokaiGalleon?

The 5th transformation of the GokaiGalleon will use Speedor as a tool. The Machfalcon or the Mahharukon will combine the Gokaigalleon and Gorgyujin to form Kanzen GokaiOh with a huge 13 on his chest.

In addition to this, Gokaigers will have a new weapon called the Gokai Galleon Buster which resemble the Gokai Galleon. I feel that this is also a tribute to other Super Sentai series that uses a cannon as the final attack, what I could think of right now are Maskman and Turbo Rangers (not sure with Turbo though).
