Figure-Rise 6 Kamen Rider Dark Kabuto & Faiz Axel Form Slated For October Release

Premium Bandai's website has just announced that the company will be releasing the Figure-Rise 6 Kamen Rider Dark Kabuto & Faiz Axel Form model kits this October 2014. Dark Kabuto will retail at 2,484 yen while Axel Form at 2,160 yen. From the official photos released, it seems both will have the same number of accessories and effects like the Figure-Rise 6 Kamen Rider Kabuto & Figure-rise 6 Kamen Rider Faiz.

Toy Review: Figure-Rise 6 Kamen Rider Kabuto

Kamen Rider Kabuto continues to walk the path and dominate the figure lines adding Figure-Rise 6 to the list. What I am happy about this model kit is that the figure has two modes. First is his Masked Form. In this form, Figure-Rise 6 is very poseasble with moving head and arm joints. Although there are positions that limit the movements, overall still very decent. Its Kabuto Zecter follows the form in closed mode and the horn swings left and right.

Toy Review: Figure-rise 6 Kamen Rider Faiz

One of the first Heisei riders to have a Figure-rise 6 kit is Kamen Rider Faiz. The model kit when assembled can be compared to an S.H. Figuarts in terms of articulation. I’ve already placed the Faiz Pointer and the holster on the figure as a default. Highlights of the figure include the chest panels that swivel in preparation for his Axel Form. And to make this pre-Axel form more appealing is the Axel Watch that can be attached on the left wrist through a replacement ring. Just like Tiger & Bunny, this version of Faiz is taller than its S.H. Figuarts counterpart.

Toy Review: Figure-Rise 6 Double Chaser (Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning)

The packaging for the Figure-rise 6 Double Chaser is similar to Barnaby and Wild Tiger’s and other models kits hailing from Bandai. We have the nice and impressive anime-flavored design on top while the sides provides information about what this is inclusive with, preempting the transformation gimmick to the individual Lonely Chasers. Since this is a model kit, the parts have to be cut out off the plastic tray.

Figure Rise-6 Kamen Rider Kabuto & Faiz Announced!

Announced via the latest figure scans in this month's Figure Oh magazine Vol. 192 revealed the upcoming release of the Figure Rise-6 Kamen Rider Kabuto and Kamen Rider Faiz. These are model kit versions have slightly the same height and articulation as their S.H. Figuarts versions. Both will be released this March 2014.

Toy Review: Figure-rise 6 Wild Tiger (Tiger & Bunny)

Another Tiger & Bunny character also stormed the 1/12 scale model kit market is this Figure-rise 6 Wild Tiger. After assembly and stickers applied, this branded hero sport a white, black and greenish motif and some known logos on it. These are the Familymart and Softbank logos and surprisingly even an S.H. Figuarts mark on the upper part of the body. Even if this is a sticker-heavy model kit, these are almost passable as actual paint.
