Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Chou Akibared Super

The form that lasted about 10 secs in the show; surprisingly gets the S.H. Figuarts treatment. This is the S.H. Figuarts Chou Akibared Super. The set follows the same mold as the fiery Super AkibaRed but such as the frame and the Aoi-Tan wrapped around his upper torso. But this time, the figure is wrapped with mustard yellow, bronze and gold paint applications and the only parts that remained in red is Aoi-tan’s ears and Akibared’s bangs.

Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kiba Ranger (White Ranger)

The S.H. Figuarts Kibaranger from the tokusatsu series Gosei Sentai Dairanger or White Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, unmistakably uses a white tiger motif with gold linings and a pearled white paint application, having that glossy white finish. Kibaranger also has a black and gold armor with the tiger crest on the chest and as a default, a holster on the waist in part of the initial look but without the Dairanger logo.

S.H. Figuarts Deluknight (Hikonin Sentai Akibarangers)

The first villain in Akibarangers to get the S.H. Figuarts treatment, Deluknight is also the 2nd Tamashii Web Exclusive figure after the S.H. Figuarts Chogokin Machine Itashar. Deluknight increases its value with grey and blue paint application and impressive translucent blue plastic that seems like a mix of Bio Hunter Silva and Kamen Rider Blade.

Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Akiba Blue (Season 2 ver.)

S.H. Figuarts Akiba Blue Season 2 may not be like Yellow by just having a different head mold. Luna’s version, aside from the updated hair sculpt, seems to be using a darker shade of blue paint application than season 1. Aside from the color changes, she sports some type of leg straps that were absent from the first release.

Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Akiba Yellow (Season 2 ver.)

The S.H. Figuarts AkibaYellow Season 2 version has an updated head sculpt having Chinese hair buns probably in preparation for the Dairanger episode. AkibaYellow is still bustier than AkibaBlue and the additional detail is the housewife stamp printed on her butt.

Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Chou (Super) AkibaRed

Akagi returns in an upgraded persona with this S.H. Figuarts Chou AkibaRed from season 2 of Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger. Usually, Bandai would use the same frame and just put add on molds. This is not the case with Chou AkibaRed. The figure, aside from having Aoi-tan wrapped around has some updates on his body. For example is having bigger shoulders and the black lines are bolder than the past release.

Akibaranger Season 2 episode 12 is entitled: Delusional Apostle "Mōsō Shito" (妄想使徒). The second to the last episode is finally here. Hakase's scorpion on her chest is another obstacle the team has to overcome with, is this the end of the Super Sentai series?
