Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kuuga Ultimate Form (Shinkocchou Seihou)

Kamen Rider Kuuga’s final form in the original series gets an updated look and feel for the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou line. Aside from the body type, height and the belt with the Arcle, the figure uses a matte finish and the veins running through the body has a more solid color. This set includes 10 hands and the dark eyes head.

Kuuga’s golden form enters the Shinkocchou Seihou line of S.H. Figuarts with the Rising Mighty Form. Kuuga's Golden Power affects its base form with its additional gold trimmings and extensions and the mark of power (chikara (力) written in ancient Linto) on the back of Kuuga's hands. There are additional marks as well on the shin called the Mighty Anklet with ancient Linto language. The set has about 9 additional hand replacements, more than the base form.

S.H. Figuarts line has updated their version first Heisei rider for the Shinkocchou Seihou line. The biggest difference and the most obvious is the molding. The entire body is now stockier, and the head is rounder than of the first release. Colours are more vibrant and if compared to the photos of the actual suit, it is now closer – even to other figure lines such as your RAH or Project BM. The set only comes with 7 replacement hands.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kuuga Growing Form

Bringing back to basics is this S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kuuga Growing form. With power yet to be realized, the weakest form also has lesser details than standard forms. With this, the main color is white and the only visible Grongi symbols are along the collar and just below the chest armor. Most obvious features are the short horns on his head.

Toy Review: S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii TryChaser 2000 (Kamen Rider Kuuga)

The S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Trychaser 2000 boasts of an almost show accurate representation of Kuuga's police bike in the TV series. Even though that has been said there are a few minor changes such as the front and hind wheels that have thicker rubber material, giving that strong dirt bike edge. Its wheel spokes are broader, finished with a glossy grey SIC signature paint finish.  The rear suspensions have deeper crevasses with the drive chain molded together as single unit.

S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Gouram Official Images

Tamashii Nations recently released the official images of the S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Gouram. The figure will include parts that fit into the recently released S.I.C. Kiwami Trychaser 2000 to form Try Gouram and Rising Beat Gouram. Gouram is about 180mm in length and tentatively set for release as an exclusive this August 2013 at 5,040 Yen.

S.I.C. Kamen Rider OOO Putotyra Combo Official Images Released

Bandai has finally released the official images of the S.I.C. Kamen Rider OOO Putotyra Combo. First seen at the Tamashi Nations 2012 event, the dinosaur form of Kamen Rider OOO is powered by three core medals namely Ptera, Tricera, and Tyranno. 

S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Rising Kuuga, Rising Beat Gouram and S.I.C. Putotyra On The Way

Following the announcement of the Trychaser 2000 in the S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii line, this month's issue of Hobby Japan features the S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Mighty and Rising Beat Gouram. As of the moment Bandai only released images of the figures in its prototype stage. Release date and price has yet to be announced as of this post.

Toy Review: S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Ultimate Form

A first in the S.I.C. line, this is a review of the S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Ultimate Form. The form was introduced in Kamen Rider Decade about near the end of the series. It was surprising that this time, Bandai didn't follow as per what was released in the bigger S.I.C. line and this was created completely from scratch without using a previous release to pattern with. I am so excited when this was announced so lets see if this is as awesome as what was advertised.

First seen during the Tamashii Nations 2012 event, Bandai Tamashii Nations has finally released the official images of the S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Kuuga in 3 forms - Titan, Pegasus and Dragon. The three will be packaged together as a Tamashii Web Exclusive 3 Form Set.

The recent magazine scans once again will wow S.I.C. lovers with the S.I.C. Kamen Rider OOO Gatakiriba combo. The 3rd S.I.C. OOO release will include 3 Core Medals and 3 Cell medals and a replacement blade for the arm. Price for this baby it 6,300 Yen and will be released this March 2013. 

Kamen Rider Decade DX Kivala To Release Next Year

Bandai's Premium Web Store has opened the pre-orders for the DX KIvala from the series Kamen Rider Decade. This toy doesn't have a belt but the material is made from die-cast. Its height is about 50mm with a width of 120mm. 

The DX Kivala has LED lights and sound effects like what she did when she bits Yusuke to transform into Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Ultimate. The toy will be released on March 2013 at 5,800 Yen.

Toy Review: S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form

Almost all the main hsieh riders are almost updated in the S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii line. Just a few more releases left. Recently Bandai went back a few steps to release finally Kamen Rider Kuuga.

In Kuuga's release, the box art has been rebooted to a more universal look that both Japan and markets outside of it can appreciate and understand what this figure is all about. Aside from the SIC KT Liner, this is the second thickest box you'll find in the market today because it offers more than previous releases.

Now get full on detail of the upcoming S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kuuga Ultimate Rising Form. From the image, Rising Ultimate with have two sets of eyes - red and dark. So far so good and it really looks amazing. Price is about 1,575 Yen, release date December 2012.

S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kuuga Rising Ultimate Form Revealed!

Wait, what? Recent scans revealed that the S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kuuga Ultimate Rising Form will be released very soon. This announcement has taken SIC lovers abreast since Bandai never released this Kuuga form in its regular SIC line. So far this scan only revealed a prototype of this figure but it is mentioned that the price is about 1,575 Yen.

Toy Review: S.I.C. Kamen Rider Kuuga (Decade Edition)

However how confusing the story was, Kamen Rider Decade is one of the most memorable Kamen Rider series in the Hsieh era. Basically not because of the rider, but how people took "onore dikeido" to another level. The popularity of the show has led Bandai milking all of Decade merchandizes including toys. One to mention is the S.I.C. series.

Kamen Rider Kuuga Vol. 56 is one of two Decade edition packs for the S.I.C. line. It is a humble attempt to try to reproduce the final form ride series in SIC. In this set we have a new mold for Kuuga Mighty form and Amazing Mighty as a bonus. Of course the final form ride is not complete without the Gouram. Kuuga is in every bit very poseable and I see no hindrances when placed in different positions. This is very impressive for something done for S.I.C. However, it is not a smooth rider when he is combined with Gouram. Nevertheless, some would argue that this is not SIC enough, but at the same time a good strategy from Bandai as this mold is somewhat conservative and appeals to those who have previously disliked SICs because of the lack of articulation and the re-imagined art. Others it is because they like Decade. Let go though detailing this set.
