Great news Rurouni Kenshin fans Takeru Satoh best known for the role for Kamen Rider Den-O will reprise his role for next year. The latest issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine revealed not only one but two new live-action Rurouni Kenshin are set for next summer.
The latest Ruruouni movies are based on Kyoto arc of Nobuhiro Watsuki's original manga, specifically, the Great Kyoto Fire and Legend's End storylines. Official titles have yet to be announced as of this post.
Previously, Keishi Otomo directed the first film and together with Takeru
Sato were actress Emi Takei playing as Kaory
Kamiya, Yuu Aoi (from Honey and Clover) as Megumi Takani, Munetaka Aoki
as Sanosuke Sagara, and Taketo Tanaka as Yahiko Myōjin. The live-action movie was produced by Warner Bros and premiered on August 25 in 136 countries.
