Toy Review: TMNT Movie Basic Action Figure – Donatello

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - TMNT Movie Basic Action Figure – Donatello represents the “brains” amongst the 4 brothers. He is a mix of the old and the new with high tech gadgetry on the head and back, with traditional armor on his lower torso. Only one weapon fits this figure which is his Bo staff. However, like some of the turtles, he can only hold this and not holster anywhere else.

Like Mikey, Donatello has the least number of hindrances due to his lean arms and legs. Nevertheless, he has a lot of details that are well crafted for something inexpensive. Overall the entire basic action figure movie characters are the least of my favorites as I would go for the animated or even the classic comic styles. This toy line is only favorable to those who wanted to collect them all.
