Machinima recently streamed the 2nd trailer to the second season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy
which first debuted in 2011. Breakthrough director Kevin Tancharoen
will continue on helming the direction and script for Mortal Kombat Legacy II. Returning and new characters will be introduced for the
second season and one will reprising his role from the 1995 film Mortal
Kombat.
The trailer showcases new shots included fight scenes between Mileena and Kitana, Scorpion and Sub Zero, Johnny Cage and Lui Kang. Ian Anthony Dale will be returning as Hanzo Hasashi (Scorpion) and surprisingly, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa will play once again as the the sorcerer Shang Tsung - a role he previously played in the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie.
Other casts include Casper Van Dien
(Johnny Cage), Dan Southworth (Kenshi), Harry Shum, Jr. (Sub-Zero),
Samantha Tjhia (Kitana), Michelle Lee (Mileena), Eric Jacobus (Kurtis
Stryker), Brian Tee from FF Tokyo Drift as Liu Kang, Mark Dacascos (Kung
Lao), Harry Shum, Jr. (Kuai Liang) and finally David Lee McInnis as the thunder god Raiden.
Warner Bros. Digital Distribution has announced that “Mortal Kombat:
Legacy” will premiere its entire second season on Machinma on Thursday,
September 26, 2013.
