Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Skyrider (First Version)

Another classic character takes center giving it the original look is this Tamashii Web Exclusive S.H. Figuarts Skyrider. Introduced back in the day as the new Kamen Rider, Skyrider’s first version uses a deeper set of color tones that the first release. As for the mold, almost nothing as changed and he still packs the same number of replaceable parts and accessories.

Like the first released figure, this exclusive Skyrider figure includes a Tamashii Stage Act 4 with an extra holding platform for Skyrider. This has a gap in between so that the body will stay flattened on a flying pose. The base has a green silhouette of Skyrider and the words underneath say Sailing Jump. Clamps are there as well in case you don't want to use the bed. Also part of the set are two pairs of hands, two mufflers, one with the neck instead of placing this like the ball-jointed accessory.

For many, this is an easy skip especially to the younger generation since not a lot knew his original color motif. As for me, this is a great match to my S.I.C. version since both share this attribute. I wished this was the massive retail release instead of the other to let people know or understand the character better using the original scheme. Don’t worry on the articulation points because nothing has changed anyway. More to this from the video review below.
