Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Takeshi Hongo (Kamen Rider 1)

S.H. Figuarts finally is making human forms or actors from the tokusatsu series with the 1st Kamen Rider, Takeshi Hongo. Hongo sports his signature black outfit with the Cyclone belt already attached on his waist. His outfit is reminiscent of the 1970s with those old school leather gloves and bellbottom pants.

S.I.C. Kamen Rider 1 Shin US Release Kicks Off In February 2014

Kamen Rider fans in the U.S. will also get an opportunity to own the S.I.C. Kamen Rider Shin Ichigo. Bluefin Tamashii Nations has just announced that Kamen Rider 1's new mold will be released this February 2014 for USD 50.99. Kamen Rider 1 Shin's latest design is part  S.I.C.'s 15th anniversary.

S.I.C. Kamen Rider 1 Shin Set For January 2014 Release

Bandai Tamashii Nations has finally set the release date of the S.I.C. Kamen Rider Shin Ichigo as part of the line's 15th anniversary. The figure is about 200mm in height and will be inclusive with wrist replacement, replacement head, various effect parts and a dedicated pedestal set. Priced at 5,250 yen, S.I.C. Kamen Rider Shin Ichigo is set for January 2014. 

Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Cyclone

The S.H. Figuarts Cyclone is the first Kamen Rider machine given to Kamen Rider 1 by Professor Midorikawa. Its form is lifted from an old 1965 Suzuki T20 and then modified its cream body shell to match with the Kamen Rider series. This bike has the Tachibana Racing logo on the front, back and near the engine block. In addition are the spoke tires and 6 mufflers as than the original design which has only 2.

Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider 1 (Old)

The S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider 1 Old version or original suit version is somewhat a variant from Sakurajima release. As the first Kamen Rider suit, the figure is taken from the same mold as the Sakurajima version with a lighter shade of green for some parts, a more pale red compound eyes but this has a metallic paint application on its helmet.

Enterbay Kamen Rider 1 To Release At ACGHK Event

Hong Kong-based high-end figurine manufacturer Enterbay finally released the pricing for the upcoming release of the Enterbay 1/6 scale Kamen Rider 1. This latest offering will be sold during the Animation, Comics & Games Expo in Hong Kong from July 26-30,2013 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Expo Drive, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. The figure will be inclusive of swappable hands and priced at HKD 2488 or USD 320. 

SHF Kamen Rider 1 Sakurajima Ver. To Be Released

Aside from the S.I.C. version that will be released, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider 1 Sakurajima Ver. will follow suit. For those who are not in the know, this version of Kamen Rider 1 is happened when Takeshi Hongo returned after Hiroshi Fujioka got into an accident.

This SHF will be released this January 2013 for 2,940 Yen which includes an alternate scarf, Shocker grunt sword, and Rider Punch effect part.

Toy Review: RAH 220 DX Kamen Rider 1 (New Version)

The RAH 220 Kamen Rider 1 or Ichigo is a good alternative to your 1/6 scale figures. These are very rare today and may cost you some amount to acquire these. However, due to how long it was released, you will see some wear and tear on the "leaves" at the back of the figure. It is just a minor mishap that any household glue can fix.

Surprisingly, the material used to create the costume is almost show accurate.Good thing that the costume is on a stretchy nylon fabric that allows some breathing room for the joints to move. But the fabric can easily be peeled off when not careful, what is more susceptible to flake off is the muffler on his neck.

Toy Review: S.I.C. Movie Realization Kamen Rider The Next

I think this is the point in my toy review vocation that I'm truly expanding my toy reviews not limiting my Kamen Rider collection in SH Figuarts. True, I have an almost complete set of the SIC Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider line (the Denliner is all that is lacking) and a growing SHF collection but its time to dig deeper into the SICs.

Of all Kamen Riders, The Next movie intrigues me the most. Unfortunately to date I haven't watched it but soon if I had enough time. Probably after I've written this review. The reason being is because through the trailers, its a revamp of the original riders. Just like the premise of SICs being re-imagined figures, the movie takes a whole new story idea. This led me in picking up the SIC Movie Realization "the Next" two-pack edition Masked Rider 1 and 2. For now, I'll call them by their common nicknames Ichigo and Nigo. Technically they are not listed on the box as SICs but they are part of the same family.

Toy Review: SH Figuarts Kamen Rider 1 (Ichigo)

First and foremost, when I started collecting SHF Kamen Riders, I vowed to only get Hsieh riders and no Showa. Something changed my mind. As a toy reviewer, I should be updated on all of  the collection of that line. As almost a year that passed, SHFs architecture and precision engineering got better. Especially with the dawn of Showa riders starting with Ichigo. Damn. 

Kamen Rider 1 or Shin Ichigo for the true believers, has a brand new packaging style, though it was flicked down by comments on my youtube channel that it is just a spin-off from Sentai SHFs. Still, the box is a fresh new look all together in the advent of that one rider that started it all. The stylized box window enables the onlooker to see more items that the previous designs. Even if SHF Ichigo a regular-released rider, it looks more elegant. Simple black design.

Intro: Kamen Rider OOO starts with fighting with the Mole Imagin thinking that they are Greeds.

This Imagin enters a kid and disappears. Den-liner appears and Kotaro flies back to Nov 11, 1971 - the time when the first Kamen Rider was introduced. Without noticing it, Eiji and Unkh rides the Denliner.

Happy Birthday Fujioka Hiroshi. If you don't know him - well he is just Kamen Rider Ichigo meaning he is the first Kamen Rider actor - Ichigo = first. That's all.
