Tamashii Nations 2012: New Figuarts Kamen Rider Bikes Displayed

So we have dealt with a plethora of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider figures but we have forgotten one aspect, them being riders. At the Tamashii Nations 2012 event, we are also treated to a couple of Kamen Rider Bikes. Lets take a look at them.

Oh yeah, Revoltech and Kotobukiya will get a run for their money now that the S.H. Figuarts Iron Man Mark VI and War Machine were seen in this year's Tamashii Nations 2012 event. Price and release dates haven't been announced as of this post. More toy displays from the Tamashii Nations 2012 event will be posted soon.

We are not done yet with the amazing displays and announcements from the Tamashii Nations 2012 event. Two more Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger characters will get Bandai's S.H. Figuarts treatment. Along is the first Guilty Gear character receiving the D-Arts look.

First is the S.H. Figuarts Z-Cune Aoi who is the fave Niyojime Z-Cune Aoi anime character in Akibarangers and the basis for Hakase's creation of the MMZ-01.

OMG! It was reported earlier that the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Femme and Blancwing were displayed at the Tamashii Nations 2012 event. Now, we have all the 13 Kamen Rider Ryuki Riders on display together with their contract monsters. (Top L-R) Kamen Rider Raia with Evildiver, Odin with Goldphoenix, Femme with Blancwing, Ryuga with Dragblacker. On the next row (L-R) Zolda with Magnugiga, Ouja with Venosnaker, Imperer with Gigazelle, Verde with Biogreeza, Alternative Zero with Psycorogue. Bottom row are (L-R): Scissors with Volcancer, Tiger with Destwilder, Ryuki and Dragreder, Ryuki and Knight in their Survive modes, Knight with Darkwing, last is Gai with Metalgelas. Price and release dates of the other Ryuki riders have yet to be announced.

Tamashii Nations 2012: S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ranger Seen

To follow the S.H. Figuarts Tyranno Ranger, Tamashii Nations 2012 event also has up for display the S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ranger from Kyouryu Sentai Zyuranger and the Green Ranger - 6th member in Might Morphin Power Rangers. Price and release date has yet to be announced.

Tamashii Nations 2012: S.H. Figuarts Blade and Femme Revealed

Finally, the answer to what most S.H. Figuarts collectors are looking forward to. At the on-going Tamashii Nations 2012 event, the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Blade has finally been revealed. Aside from this, another rider from the Ryuki series hopefully will be released soon. This is the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Femme. Beside Femme is her contract monster, Blancwing which, from the name card alone, will be sold separately. Release dates and price has yet to be announced.

More S.I.C.s and S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashiis were on display at the Tamashii Nations 2012 event. We now have more clear images of the S.I.C. Kamen Rider OOO Latorata, Sogozo, Putotyra and Shauta combo.

It just keeps pouring in. Another highlight at this year's Tamashii Nations 2012 event is the reveal of the 12-inch Perfect Model AkibaBlue and AkibaYellow. This is to follow AkibaRed's release which was featured at the Tamashii Nations Vol.4 in Hong Kong.

It has also been revealed after the announcement of the S.H. Figuarts Gavan this month, two more Space Sheriffs will get the S.H. Figuarts treatment. Spotted at the Tamashii Nations 2012 event, the prototypes of the S.H. FiguArts Space Sheriff Sharivan and Shaider. Since these are just prototypes, price and release dates have yet to be announced.

S.H. Figuarts Wizard Hurricane Style Release Date Announced!

It was earlier reported that the Tamashii Web Exclusive S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Wizard Hurricane Style was announced, however the magazine scans didn't reveal a release date or the suggested retail price. Now we do have that information. Towering at 150mm, the S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Wizard Hurricane Style will be released this April 2013, the same month for the release of the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Wizard Land Style. Hurricane style will include swappable hands and the WizardSwordGun in gun and sword mode like Flame Style. Price is at 3,360Yen.

Through the success of the Super Robot Chogokin line, Tamashii Nations 2012 event has also in display the Super Robot Chogokin DaiBouken and Super Robot Chogokin GekiTouja.

First seen in NYCC 2012 the Super Robot Chogokin DaiBouken represents the mecha of GoGo Sentai Boukenger. Super Robot Chogokin GekiTouja on the other hand is the first robot formation from the series Juuken Sentai Gekiranger. Price and release dates will be revealed soon.

Toy Review: S.I.C. Kamen Rider OOO Tatoba Combo

Here is the review of the S.I.C. Vol. 64 Kamen Rider OOO Tatoba Combo. I was excited when I first saw the magazine scans of the Vol. 64 version of Kamen Rider OOO not because I like the show but I'm always curious on how Bandai will take another way of recreating OOO in an artist's perspective.

The box has a huge ring with the title of the volume and the name of the rider. Both side panels have the printed Taka, Tora and Batta medals but one set is on a translucent texture allowing to see the figure from the side. Overall the box is illuminating.

There are so many figure revelations in this year's Bandai Tamashii Nations 2012. Through Amiami's Twitter account we get a glimpse of upcoming releases which we hope to see next year.

Following up on the recent slew of announcements for the upcoming S.I.C. releases, Bandai now officially released the images of the S.I.C. Kamen Rider OOO Effect Parts Set. This includes Ankh and a variety of effect parts and Ankh's swappable hands. Also inclusive is the Medal Holder, extra Tatoba head with Greed eyes, cell medals, additional core medals, an extra Ankh hand holding a Popsicle and a stand. Pre-orders have started today. The S.I.C. Kamen Rider OOO Effect Parts Set will be released with March 2013 for 3,360Yen.

We are not done yet with S.H. Figuarts announcements. Aside from the recently announced Kamen Rider Wizard Flame and Water Style, Hurricane and Land Styles will follow suit.

The first Tamashii Web Exclusive is the Kamen Rider Wizard Hurricane Style. He will include swappable hands and the WizardSwordGun in gun and sword mode like Flame Style. No price or release date has been announced.

With Tamashii Nations 2012 running this weekend, we have an early announcement through the Tamashii Web Shop site that S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Ryuga will be released this March 2013. Ryuga was first seen on the Kamen Rider Ryuki Movie: Episode Final.

For 4,200 Yen, Ryuga stands about 140mm tall and includes a Dragvisor, DragBlacker, Sword Vent, Guard Vent, and Strike Vent, Ryuga Advent Deck and five pieces of Advent Cards. Bandai will also throw in a black Tamashii Stage Act stand with Ryuga's logo.

More Images Of The S.H. Figuarts Shachiku

Earlier, we have reported that along with the magazine scan of the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Wizard is another character from Hikonin Sentai Akibarangers that will get the S.H. Figuarts treatment. This is the S.H. Figuarts Shachiku, the corporate drones ought to fight Akibarangers along with Malshina.

This figure is about 160mm in height and inclusive of a plain Tamashii Stand, speech bubbles and extra hands. This is the S.H. Figuarts Shachiku will be released this March 2013 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive for 3,360Yen.

Leaked on the net recently is a photo of 6 Kamen Riders on their bikes that will be featured in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Wizard & Fourze: Movie Wars ULTIMATUM". Here is a photo of Kamen Rider W, Fourze, Wizard, Meteor, OOO and Birth!

Finally, Medicom has officially used "Ryuki" on their upcoming release. It has been officially announced that Medicom will be releasing the RAH DX Kamen Rider Ryuki this May 2013. Priced at 19,850 Yen, the head is entirely a new mold for those who want to compare with the RAH Dragon Knight version. Ryuki will include additional hands, the Drag Visor, Drag Saber and 5 Advent Cards. The Advent cards can be loaded on the Drag Visor and the deck on the belt can be removed. The RAH DX Kamen Rider Ryuki will include the RAH signature stand.

Ishimori Productions recently unearthed an unpublished colored 24-page Cyborg 009 manga which is parth of the "Mythos Cyborg" arc. This chapter has been colored 42 years ago and will be Fukkan.com will publish this as part of the 3rd installment of the reissue of the original serialized manga. Starting today, Medicom is accepting pre-orders for the May 2013 release of the RAH DX Space Sheriff Sharivan, the second Space Sheriff in the Metal Hero series. Towering at approximately 300mm in height, Sharivan includes a Laser Blade, a Crime-Buster hand gun, an extra lighted head and interchangeable hands. The RAH DX Space Sheriff Sharivan is priced at 19,950 Yen

Tamashii Nations Launches 5th Anniversary Book

In the upcoming Tamashii Nations 2012 event to be held this October 26, the group will be releasing a Tamashii Nations 5th Anniversary Special Edition Figure Oh Magazine selling for 2,000 Yen. The said book is a collection and chronology of toys from the Bandai Collector's Division from its inception in 1974 to 2012. Other information listed on the book are the brands, events and a special edition Monomaga in collaboration with Mono Magazine.

The recent magazine scans once again will wow S.I.C. lovers with the S.I.C. Kamen Rider OOO Gatakiriba combo. The 3rd S.I.C. OOO release will include 3 Core Medals and 3 Cell medals and a replacement blade for the arm. Price for this baby it 6,300 Yen and will be released this March 2013.

Here is a review of the S.H. Figuarts Magnugiga, the first contract monster to be sold separately from its rider. Basically, it has all the complete weapons from the Giga Launcher, the Shield, Giga Cannon and Giga Horn upsized and ready for mass destruction.

The transformation kind of reminds me of how the R&M version was in terms of forming different weapons. But of course this is S.H. Figuarts so the details are more noticeable. Each transformation is a more delicate process that its R&M counterpart. The most difficult area is the separating the shield from the launcher and the launcher from the legs. Is it worth it? If you already have the R&M version, you can already pair it with S.H. Figuarts Zolda, if not, you might swallow a few gulps because of its exclusive price. It has been confirmed recently that Bandai will be producing another first with the Chogokin King Robo Mickey & Friends. This is a combining robot from 6 of Disney's well-known characters. The combination and characters included are as follows:

Figure-Oh magazine Vol. 177 recently published upcoming S.H. Figuarts goodies even before the official announcement at the Tamashii Nations 2012 this weekend. First is the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Style which includes expected accessories such as swappable hands, the WizarSwordGun in gun and sword mode. This will be released this February 2013 for 3,500 Yen.

DX Kamen Rider Wizard DragoTimer

Here is the DX Drago Timer which gives you a clue on the upcoming upgrade for Kamen Rider Wizard - Dragon Styles. The Drago Timer will allow Wizard to evolve as various Dragon Styles evolve but on a limited time with Wizardragon’s body parts. Quick reminder, the Flame Dragon Style can evolve even further with all of the dragon’s parts, thus Wizard can become Wizard All Dragon Style.

Gobusters episode 36 is entitled: Go-Buster Lioh, Gakiin! "Gobasutaraio Gakin!" (ゴ―バスターライオー　ガギーン!). Here is a preview of this episode Wanting better treatment, the Buddyloids go on strike. This puts the use of Powered Custom in jeopardy, as it requires the Go-Busters and Buddyloids to synchronize.

Gobusters episode 35 is entitled: Roar, Tategami Lioh! "Tategamiraiō Hoeru!" (タテガミライオー　吼える！). While combating an enemy Megazord, the Go-Busters are caught off-guard by the appearance of another Megazord. At the Energy Management Center, they discover the Megazord is the creation of Dr. Hazuki and his daughter known as Tategami Lioh and was created to assist the Go-Busters in battling the Messiah Megazords. However, Tategami Lioh is more interested in fighting the Go-Busters.

Kamen Rider Wizard episode 9 is entitled: The Dragon's Cry "Doragon no Sakebi" (ドラゴンの叫び). Here is the preview of this episode. After finding out that Hiroki is the son of his old friend Mikiko, Haruto suggests that he watches over him until the Phantom case is solved. However, Phoenix attacks Mikiko instead of bringing Hiroki into despair and when Haruto realises this, he searches for his father.

Kamen Rider Wizard episode 8 is entitled: A New Magic Stone "Aratana Mahōseki" (新たな魔宝石). After a mysterious white Garuda delivers a new Magic Ring and stone to Omokagedo, Medusa sends out Ghouls to attack a young boy who is suspected of being a Gate as Haruto finds himself facing Phoenix.

S.H.Figuarts 009 RE: CYBORG Joe Shimamura Official Images

Bandai recently released the official images of the S.H. Figuarts Joe Shimamura that is sculpted from the 009 Re: Cyborg movie. Moreover, 009 Re: Cyborg movie Director Kenji Kamiyama took the time to oversee the end product of this Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. Joe stands about 150mm and includes interchangeable hands. Set to release on April 2013, this S.H. Figuarts is priced at 3,990 Yen.

Gavan Web Manga Up, New Novels To Be Released

After the release yesterday of the 1st episode of the Space Sheriff Gavan web manga by Akita Shoten, two novels will be released this October. These two novels tell two different stories of the 1st Gavan and Gavan Type-G.

The first book is entitled" "Space Sheriff Gavan The Novel" that narrates new adventures of Retsu Ichijoji and a mysterious character named Julia. According to the synopsis, another criminal organization - Metos appears and hijacks the Dolgiran. With the spacecraft taken, how will Retsu Ichijoji change into Gavan?

Finally arriving to the Takara Tomy's Encore series is Transformer's Fortress Maximus. Fortress Maximus first made an appearance as the leader of the Head Masters and this release is in line with the 25th anniversary of its first release. This huge G1-esque component also includes weapons and Fortress Maximus's own cranial Autobot named Cerebros. Set to release this February 2013, TF Encore Fortress Maximus retails at 29,800 Yen (ouch).

Here are the official images of the MG Figurise 1/8 scale Double Chaser. This model kit can be separated into two bikes and each will have their own stand. The MG Figurise bike will be released this December 2012 at 3,200 Yen.

Bandai's Premium Web Store has opened the pre-orders for the DX KIvala from the series Kamen Rider Decade. This toy doesn't have a belt but the material is made from die-cast. Its height is about 50mm with a width of 120mm.

The DX Kivala has LED lights and sound effects like what she did when she bits Yusuke to transform into Kamen Rider Kuuga Rising Ultimate. The toy will be released on March 2013 at 5,800 Yen.

Toy Review: S.H.Figuarts Shocker Rider [Toei Hero.Net Exclusive]

Another ToeiHero.Net Exclusive which is a (sort of) repaint from Kamen Rider 1 - the S.H. Figuarts Shocker Rider. The first evil rider has a similar box art like Ichigou and Nigou, the outlined silhouette has the same treatment and you wouldn't tell the difference until you find the yellow blocks surrounding the box and the ToeiHero.net logo found near the Tamashii Nations logo. It's layout is quite neat unlike other box arts that had a lot of text scrambled all over.

This Shocker Rider was first seen in episode Atrocity! Fake Kamen Riders! There were 6 fake riders hence there are also 6 colored mufflers plus 1 more for Yellow Shocker. He also includes a briefcase and 7 interchangeable hands and the mold is similar to Ichigou's. The briefcase doesn't open and if my memory serves me right, this should have a capsule ( I think it was a bomb of some sort) included like my RAH DX version.

It has taken control of Wolverine too. NOOOO!!! Korean Pop Star Psy recently visited the set of The Wolverine movie and posed for a photo op with Hugh Jackman posing with Adamantium claws and all. Later, Psy also tweeted the pic and mentions that he had a great time. For those who don't know by now, Psy is man behind the worldwide hit Gangnam Style. The Wolverine movie opens on July 2013.

GokaiSilver To Appear In Gobusters?

Recently posted on the TOEI-Eigamura event page that the venue where Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters usually films will be opened to the public for two days. This is a great opportunity for fans since this place is usually a closed venue during an episode shoot.

What is interesting about the list is that Jun Ikeda aka GokaiSilver will also make an appearance during this 2 day open venue event. Does this mean GokaiSilver will make an appearance on an upcoming Gobuster episode?

Atsuki Boukensha, Attack! This is a review of the S.H. Figuarts Bouken Red from Gogo Sentai Boukenger. Just like Jetman's Red Hawk and Dekaranger's DekaRed, the reason of its creation is because of one Akibaranger episode which also gave birth to the Bouken Scooper to form the Inordinate Cannon! Check out the video below how this is formed.

The box contains the Bouken Javelin, Bouken Bo, 2 Survi Blasters (the other is to holster onto BoukenRed) 9 interchangeable hands, 3 Accellulars and the Survi Blade. As for holding the weapons, you need to squeeze the hands in order to hold these properly.

Twitter account @terukou2009, a tokufan, recently saw the filming of what is seems to be an upcoming Gokaiger vs Gobusters movie. He mentioned that it is interesting to see Basco fighting Sun Vulcan (presumably our pirates in Gokai Change mode). Also seen was GokaiPink and Silver. It has been an unspoken annual "tradition" that current and previous sentai teams converge for a VS movie. As of this post, we haven't seen an official title yet but it is rumored to debut this January 2013.

This year, Gokaigers returned to the big screen in Super Hero Taisen, an epic war between Kamen Riders and Super Sentai. More of this information coming soon. Please take the following as a grain of salt.

Tachikoma and Tachi Yellow, artificial intelligences, walker/rollers in the Ghost in the Shell will arrive in Revoltech form this December 15. Tachikoma will be numbered as series 126 while Yellow is 126EX. From the photos alone, these two will share the same number of interchangeable parts and claws and will have magnet underneath the carriage. Price is 3,480Yen each and pre-orders have already opened in your favorite Japan online hobby shops.

Naruto Dons Son Goku's Costume In UNS 3

Another bonus from NYCC 2012! CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama has announced that the upcoming PS3 and Xbox 360 game, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will contain a bonus that allows Naruto to wear Son Goku's outfit.

This bonus feature is only available on the first edition. Upon purchase, you will receive a DLC key to unlock the Son Goku costume. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is said to be released in Japan this 2013.

Kamen Rider Wizard episode 8 is entitled: A New Magic Stone "Aratana Mahōseki" (新たな魔宝石). Here is a preview of this episode.
