Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Super Shinken Red

When ShinkenRed loads the Secret Loading Gun Mougyu Bazooka...this isn't a secret anymore ain't it? This is my review of the S.H. Figuarts Super Shinken Red. Super Shinken Red is the 7th Shinkenger release right after the completion of the main samurai rangers in the SHF line.

I said to myself it is ridiculous if Bandai releases Super and Hyper and I will refuse to spend my money on it. Guess again. I stumbled over my farthest but one of my fave toy stores right in the heart of Bugis - the Falcon's Hangar, I pre-ordered so therefore I must collect. I'm expecting the same of almost everything from Super ShinkenRed so let's see what it feels having its super form.

SH Figuarts Juuzo Fuwa Official Images Released

Aside from Hyper ShinkenRed, another exclusive Shinkenger character is making his debut in the SH Figuarts line - Juuzo Fuwa. Here are the official images released on the Tamashii Web.

Juuzo is ShinkenRed's archenemy. Juuzo includes two Uramasa swords, complete and broken and in addition, a Nanashi Renju issued sword.Release date June 2, 2012. Price 3,675 Yen.

Toy Review: SH Figuarts Shinken Pink

Final SH Figuarts Shinkenger for review - Shinken Pink. Shinken Pink or Mako Shiraishi is in my opinion one of the prettiest Super Sentai in my roster of...whatever :3. Mako represents the older sister everyone is looking for. Chiaki I think is the only one openly acknowledges her position. She provides the level-headed advices and obviously the heart of the team. As Takeru's vassal, this Samurai of the Sky immortalizes her role as the every time Takeru looses control and always mentions to use his heart and mind in decision making.

Shinken Pink has a fair number of weapons on her arsenal. Setting herself apart from other Shinkengers is the Heaven Fan. The fan has a huge sky symbol in the middle of the fan and a noticeable Shiba logo on top. A cute tassel has been molded at the end of the item painted in bronze. Staple three-part skirt accessory is included. The rest includes a shinkenmaru, a shodophone, two kinds of kame (sea turtle) origami and a total of 10 hands, two of which are used for the roll call pose.

Toy Review: SH Figuarts Shinken Yellow

My second to the last (I hope) review of the SH Figuarts Shinkenger line - Shinken Yellow Hanaori Kotoha. The accidental Shinkenger. As the story goes, Kotoha took over her sister's pledge to the Shiba clan. Apparently, Kotoha's big sister is sick and unable to take the mantle of Shinken Yellow.

Shinken Yellow box art is patterned from previous Shinkenger releases but the box its too  canary yellow and bright to stare at. Thankfully in came with the exclusive brown box so I can cover it and store it without having something shinny on my shelf.

Toy Review: SH Figuarts Shinken Red Shiba Kaoru

This is another prediction came to fruition. Yes, I predicted that there will be a Female Shinken Red in SHF form to be released. Damn. If there would be a Hyper version (of all Shinkengers) I would die right then and there. As the fifth SHF Super Sentai released this year, I was on the fence whether I should get Shiba Kaoru for or thinking if this would be worth getting to complete the SHF Shinkenger line. Even so, I still went to my fave Uncle and I guess I had the decent price. I checked other stores just for comparison and the price tag was more freaking ridiculous.

SHF Shinken Red (Shiba Kaoru) was (as the story goes) the rightful heir to the Shiba Clan and head of the Samurai Sentai warriors. She also represents the 18th head of the of the clan. Fun fact, Kaoru's actress was actually 14 year old when she played this part but her role calls for a 17 year old.

Going forward with the toy review.

Toy Review: SH Figuarts Shinken Green

I thought that Shinken Green and Blue will come in a two pack. Instead, Bandai separated the two so it will would be harder for us collectors to find each (what a pain). I don't believe this two pack idea would happen anyway since the two have massive weapons and I don't think it would  fit or Bandai to put a little effort to increase the box size. Again, I won't argue why these are exclusive figures....I gave up already.

Shinken Green (Tani Chiaki) much like Blue has the same articulation points and poseability just like the other Shinkenger releases in the SH Figuarts line. I won't dwell on this much anymore, as you already know by now how these works. I won't detail the box art as well as the design is not far from Blue's, just change the color to green and paste Chiaki's image in.

SH Figuarts Septemeber Releases

Aha!!! Finally got a glimpse of release dates and price tags for SHF Super Sentai and Kamen Rider releases and all will come this September 2011. Save, save, save, especially if you are much into the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai franchise. I'm sorry but 2011 will be a painful one for toy lovers. There maybe misspelled names and details, I'll let the rest of the RRR team help me decipher it further.

Gokai Silver's Mecha Seen, Actor revealed

We recently have some confirmation that actor Jun Ikeda is the will fit in to Silver. It is also rumored that Silver is a former monster named Barizorg who taught Joe his sword-fighting skills. Barizorg's human name is "Syd" (Shido).

More whoop whoop news.

Behold, GokaiSilver's mecha GoJyuJin (Gouryuzin). GoJyuJin is a Dinosaur robot (T-Rex to be precise) that turns into a human-like mecha and a weapon.

Complete Shinken Gokai Oh

Finally, we now have an image of Shinken Gokai Oh. This mecha is formed with Gaolion. It seems that the Origami are already imbedded in Gaolion in order to change into Shinken Gokai Oh.

Jan and Shafu(Xia Fu) to appear on Gokaiger and KR Eternal Accel?

Before it airs tomorrow, I'm showing you what to expect on the 6th Gokaiger episode which will focus on Luka (I really think she is one of the prettiest ranger) and soon-to-be Gokaiger’s Gattai with GaoLion. Gekiranger episode is entitled Niki! Niki! Training Kenpo!

Reprising their roles as Jan/GekiRed and Master Xia Fu (Sha Fu)Navi (the irritating bird) asks our Gokai team to find a Tiger Boy and for the treasure of Wisdom. After a failed battle with the main enemy, Doc and Ahim falls a group that teaches Kung-Fu or to be exact Kenpo Lessons then later meets Jan and Xia Fu to prepare.

New Scan!!! SH Figuarts Shinken Gold!

Coming this March (supposedly) is SHF Shinken Gold's debut. The second Super Sentai in the SHF line. I don't have much to say but it is great that he is not an exclusive. More scans below, enjoy:

Toy Review: SH Figuarts Shinken Red

The first Super Sentai on the SH Figuarts toy line Shinken Red aka Shiba Takeru. Just like any other firsts -  the toy is both epic and paves the way for improvements. Nevertheless, this is another toy line, should Bandai would continue, everyone will start pre-ordering and go gaga.

Now lets count the...oopss wrong attribution.Mairu! Red has a decent number of  accessory count: 7 interchangeable hands, two swords, (Shinkenmaru and Rekka Daizantou) a shodophone and one origami and one in lion mode. Rekka is huge, well it should be if it wants to imitate what is seen on the show. It is almost a splitting image. Maybe I miss something but the details on it are up to a tee. I mentioned on my video review, (in titles) that the Hiden disks can be removed which is a plus. If these are the same with the rest of the Shinkenger line - it would be epic. This is  can also be said with Shinkenmaru in terms of the look and feel.

SH Figuarts Shinkenger - Shinken Red

Bandai's SH Figuarts line this month is releasing its first Super Sentai figure starting with Shinken Red. The said toy will have 7 extra hands, 1 Tora origami and 1 Fire origami, 1 Shodophone (epic!), 1 Shinkenmaru -or sword with a disk, 1 Rekka Daizantou that is so huge it had to be put in the box sideways. Just like Kamen Rider OOO Tatoba combo, he will come with an exclusive Kuroko-chan (黒子?) they are the Shiba House's servants who "set up" the scene during the Shinkengers' transformation.
